The Underground (Tube) is a credit to London - clean, frequent, easy to get around with a prepaid "Oyster Card".
Bus drivers are to be admired for their skill in manoeuvring through narrow spaces and making tight turns.
The queue at Madame Tussaud's was almost 1 km long, so abandoned attempt for another day.
Tower of London well worth the visit in spite of more very long queues. Highlights were the Crown Jewels display and museum, the Bloody Tower where the two young royal boys were secretly murdered, and Ann Boleyn's bloody execution by decapitation and burial within the Tower grounds.
After all this blood and gore we took a relaxing cruise along the Thames.
